Since 2016, the Partnership for Resilient Communities (PRC) has helped six community-based organizations to build long-lasting community resilience in communities of color throughout the United States. Today, we’re pleased to announce that ISC has received a new three-year grant from The JPB Foundation to continue and strengthen the PRC – expanding the program into other communities.
The PRC seeks to:
- Support organizations led by, and serving, People of Color to improve overall quality of life in urban disinvested climate-vulnerable communities to foster economic opportunity, social and environmental resilience.
- Provide leadership in transforming the fast-growing climate resilience field in the U.S. to be more inclusive, equity-centered, and community-led, which will lead to greater progress towards a resilient nation.
