Nicole Waters

Nicole Waters is a Senior People & Culture Generalist at the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC). Nicole partners with the vice president of People & Culture to align workplace culture and policies with the organization’s strategic direction, primarily in recruitment, total rewards, and engagement. Nicole is passionate about the employee experience and ensuring that equity is embedded in practices across the organization. 

Before joining ISC, Nicole cultivated experience in employee engagement, recruitment, well-being, strategy,  and change management through her previous roles as a human resources generalist. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a BA in Psychology in 2018 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Nicole was born, raised, and resides in Montgomery County, Maryland, with her  9-year-old daughter, Audrina.
