Smita Chakravarty is a Program Officer with the Energy & Environment team in India. Her professional experience includes leading and supporting projects on climate change and development issues at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), where she collaborated with international clients and government representatives. She has also contributed to research on gender and climate change at the Institute of Home Economics, University of Delhi.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, Delhi, and a PGDM in International Business from Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management (IITTM), Gwalior. Smita has also completed a Regional Short Course on Integrating Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction to Reduce Vulnerability hosted by Griffith University, Queensland and has co-authored reports, policy briefs and papers.
When she’s not working, Smita enjoys discovering new places, books, and tunes.
