Sam Schipani

Sam Schipani is a storyteller and communications multitool, and she is so proud to be joining the team at ISC. Previously, she has served as a news writer for the University of Maine, a staff writer at the Bangor Daily News, an editorial fellow at Sierra Magazine, a media coordinator for the Mojave Desert Land Trust, and a communications intern for the American Planning Association. Sam has also worked as a freelance writer for a range of publications, including Smithsonian, Earth Island Journal, Atlas Obscura, and more. She lives in Bangor, Maine, with her husband and two rabbits, all of whom she loves very much.
