Holly Moon, CFRE is a fundraising leader who is passionate about climate change, sustainability, and climate justice. She is also an advocate for uplifting young professionals and advancing the fundraising profession. In 2014, Holly participated in the Chinese American Friendship Program at Qingdao University in Shandong, China. Two years later, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at the University of South Florida – Honors College. Since then, she has dedicated herself to making the world a better place through her fundraising efforts. Holly has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Tampa Bay chapter and on the Emerging Leaders Task Force for AFP Global. In 2019, she was a guest on the Fundraising Talent Podcast with Jason Lewis. In 2020, Holly co-founded the Tampa Bay Philanthropy Week storytelling project to celebrate philanthropists and their many ways of giving. In May of 2021, Holly earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. Holly is currently the Associate Director, Individual Giving at the Institute for Sustainable Communities where she supports donors in their personal mission to combat climate change. She lives on the road in an RV with her partner, Derek; twins, Robin and Wesley; beloved canines, Piper and Lana; and devilish cat, Loki.
