Franccesca Cesti-Browne has been working in the non-profit sector for over 20 years, advising community-based organizations, international development organizations and institutions of higher education, on the business strategies and systems they need to achieve their mission to strengthen communities and be good stewards of their funds.
Franccesca has experience leading all operating functions of an organization, from IT to finance. She has worked with USAID, CDC, NIH, Florida Department of Education, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and other private foundations during her time with the Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown University, the Academy for Educational Development, FHI 360 and the YMCA of Greater Miami. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from Florida International University.
Franccesca’s personal mission is to assist Non-profit organizations focus on the core of their business (Systems and Teams) to increase efficiencies and strengthen their capacity to achieve the mission and goals of the organization.
Franccesca volunteers her time for various causes and has served on the Board of Directors of several local non-profits in our community. She has held positions as a Board Treasurer, Board Vice President and Board Chair helping Boards work more efficiently and intentionally in supporting the organization they serve. She is also a Girl Scout troop leader for her daughters’ troop.
