Dalia began her career in the communal non-profit sector 15 years ago in New York City. Ever since then, she’s strategically chosen roles that impact the community for better. From working in a non-profit pediatric clinic as a Volunteer and Communications Manager, to management consulting, she has always chosen places that were mission-driven and worked to better the world around them. Most recently, Dalia worked in the world of social impact, entrepreneurship, and evaluation, helping ventures understand how to better scale their offerings to amplify their good work.
Dalia’s key abilities include evaluation, program planning, and organizational change management. She is thrilled to use these skills as part of the ISC team to further the mission of climate adaptation and community-led problem solving. She loves bringing people together to talk about big ideas and is a skilled collaborator and facilitator. She is also trained in Human-Centered Design and Adaptive Leadership and brings those approaches to problem solving wherever she is. She holds a certificate in Change Management from Prosci and a certificate in Global Monitoring and Evaluation from NYU. She loves data and evaluation work because she believes data is the strongest basis for storytelling, and storytelling is the strongest tool for creating change.
Dalia loves to read and talk about big ideas with people. When not hanging out with her husband and son or walking her dog, she can be found curled up on her couch with a book, deep in discussion with her peers, crocheting a new project, or trying new recipes from her cookbook collection.
