This 22 month-long project provides support to Barr Foundation grantees in the area of climate resilience through thought-partnership coaching, tailored technical assistance, and peer learning opportunities.
The Partnership for Resilient Communities – Massachusetts (PRC-Mass) project focuses on providing technical assistance to Barr Foundation Climate Program grantees. Our technical assistance works with Barr Foundation local communities and climate organization grantees to build local community capacity to implement climate resilience projects in Massachusetts. This project will build on ISC’s Climate Leaders program and provide PRC-Mass partners with a national network for peer-to-peer conversations.

Climate change impacts communities across Massachusetts in distinct ways, especially in historically low-resourced areas. PRC – Massachusetts aims to resource local leaders and community-based organizations to ensure direct engagement in climate resilience planning and decision-making processes. This program is built on the understanding that local residents and local leaders hold the direct knowledge and expertise required to drive practical, sustainable solutions.
