Senior Program Officer
Rose Berry is a Senior Program Officer with ISC’s U.S. Programs. Working across a variety of U.S geographies, Rose will work with grassroots and other community organizations, institutional partners, and local and regional governments to foster collaboration to address climate impacts. Rose will be working on both the Climate Change Health and Equity (CCHE) and the Health and Climate Solutions (HCS) U.S. initiatives.
Rose’s work spans 17 years of grassroots organizing, non-profit management, technical assistance, and training for various non-profit and governmental agencies across the country. All of her work centers racial and gender justice at its core. As a co-founder and Steering Committee member of Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project (BLMP), Rose has proudly led the first ever nation-wide survey for Black, queer, trans, and non-binary migrants in the U.S.
Rose attended Goddard College in Vermont, where she studied psychology, sociology, and anthropology with a focused study on Black migration, climate change, and the parallels between the two.
