Nicholas R. Stevens

Chief Operating Officer

Nicholas Stevens is Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he oversees ISC’s finance, human resources, operations, and legal compliance functions across all of ISC’s programs worldwide. Nicholas brings to ISC nearly 20 years of experience in finance, operations management, corporate strategy, and business development, working in a variety of sectors and regions globally. He has worked extensively in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector from an international development perspective and has deep functional expertise in cross-border project finance, public-private partnership design and implementation, business and strategic planning, and global operations.

Prior to joining ISC, Nicholas managed his own advisory firm, Bridgespan Ventures, which specialized in corporate finance and business development services for the telecom, media, and technology industries in emerging and frontier markets. Prior to Bridgespan, he served in increasingly senior management roles at GE Capital, Toronto Dominion Capital, and the Hearst Corporation. Nicholas holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University, and earned his B.S. in International Affairs from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
