Jan Blomstrann is the co-founder and former CEO of NRG Systems, a manufacturer of utility-scale renewable energy industry measuring and monitoring equipment. She began at the company in 1987, and in a variety of roles helped build NRG into a global organization that now serves more than 150 countries around the world. During her tenure at NRG, Jan played a key role in shaping the national wind industry as it evolved into a mainstream source of power.
Jan was the first woman to be named Wind Woman of the Year by the Women of Wind Energy, an organization that supports the recruitment and advancement of women in the wind energy industry. In 2012, she was recognized as a Champion of Change by the White House, and she is the 2013 recipient of the Terry Ehrich Award for Excellence in Socially Responsible Business. Jan also served on the ISC board from 2009 to 2015.
