Hurrain is a part of our Energy & Environment team. She is working as a Program Assistant for ISC’s ACE Manufacturing program. This is a multi-faceted role, focused on in-depth research for policy development, using an inter-disciplinary approach encompassing technological, social, economic, and political aspects of the project at hand.
Before joining ISC, Hurrain was studying for a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Systems at The University of Edinburgh, which equipped her with the understanding of sustainable energy in a wider context, including value-chain, economics, policy and regulation, and environmental and social implications. She has a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.
Hurrain has also worked in the sales department of a marketing and advertising start-up, gaining valuable transferable skills of stakeholder management, effective communication, negotiation, and leadership.
