Anna Marandi is a Program Officer for ISC’s U.S. Program team. In this role, she works to implement urban resilience and adaptation programming on the regional scale throughout the United States.
Prior to joining ISC, Anna worked with the Hudson River Foundation to research innovative financing possibilities for large-scale restoration and public access projects in the New York-New Jersey Harbor and Estuary. She worked in Colombia as part of a team that planned and implemented a community-based land management project with low-income and displaced residents. She also worked for nine years as an associate producer and location scout on major motion pictures and television.
She earned a MS in Environmental Policy & Sustainability Management from the Milano School of International Relations, Management and Urban Policy at The New School as well as a BA in Comparative Literature and French from Boston University. Anna is fluent in French and Spanish, and conversant in Farsi.
